Words for songs – Frog & Mouse

Well it seems my poor sister has been searching for the words of the songs on this cd … sorry sis, here they are.Frog and mouse Song – Len Graham

A frog set out to woo a mouse
Follow to right a lery oh
A frog set out to woo a mouse
And so he went to the mouse’s house
Follow to right a lery oh
Taten to ree and to randy

Said young miss mouse will you marry me
I will if my uncle rat agrees

Uncle rat said that’s good news my dear
and soon we’ll have some music here

The first come in was a bumble bee
With his fiddle upon his knee

the next come in was a big black snail
with his pipes upon his tail

So now we’re all in very good cheer
We’re going to have some dancing here

We tapped it out with our toes and heels
Sets of polkas and jigs and reels

Little miss wasp got up to sing
She tipped the bodhran with her sting

The next come in was a big tom cat
he ate miss Mouse and that was that

Poor Mr Frog must croak and moan
Went sadly home and lived alone
